This was successfully held on October 6/7 at the Playford Hotel, Adelaide and virtually online. There were a few technical hiccoughs at the start of the meeting, but all planned sessions were completed including the overseas speakers input. Highlights include a general discussion about Diabetes in School, the new innovations in pump therapy, and a new care audit tool, Diabeasy. Updates in Type1 Diabetes care, the “SWIIM program” from John Hunter Hospital and some different Models of T1 care were presented. Some photographs will beincluded on our website soon.

Activity
We continue to contribute to discussions federally regarding rural and regional workforce development and Peter Goss has submitted a detailed paper on Diabetes care particularly type 1 patients to the Federal Health Minister.
We hope to get some more programs up and running in the near future. The next executive committee Zoom meeting will have a full agenda.
Best wishes to everyone with Christmas fast approaching.
